The Church Badminton Group meets in the Church Hall on Monday nights, excepting the months of July and August.
Monday 8.00 - 10.00 pm Subscription £3.00 per week.
As the hall accommodates only one court there is a natural limit to a number of players, if everyone is to get a reasonable number of games. By the same token, doubles is a usual form played.
Fellowship is an important aspect of the group, with ages ranging from around 20 to 75+ - (men and women.) We have also welcomed members from other denominations, in the spirit of ecumenicism.
Whilst there is no formal dress code for shirt and shorts, members are asked not to wear black - soled trainers or pumps out of respect for the dance floor quality of the hall and the efforts of the hall manager.
