The Annual Parish and the Annual Parochial Church meetings will take place on Tuesday 17th April 2018 in St George’s Institute, commencing at A warm invitation is extended to all those who worship at St. Georges to attend this very important evening in our Church calendar. The Annual Parish Meeting is where the Church Wardens are appointed: eligibility to attend and vote is determined by living within the Parish boundaries and being on the register of local government electors OR by being on the electoral roll of the Parish. The Annual Parochial Church Meeting is open to those persons who qualify by simply being on the Electoral Roll: it provides the opportunity to elect people to the PCC as well as receive/question/ and discuss any issues arising from the content of the Annual Report (including the Financial report). The evening provides all members of St .Georges with the opportunity to contribute to the further development of the Church. A good turn out will show how much we value and care for our Church, so please do come along. Nomination forms for the positions of Church Wardens and membership of the PCC will be available at the rear of the church on the lastSunday in April. If you are interested in filling any of these posts, but are not sure what is entailed and have questions, then please contact the Vicar or Church Wardens, who will be only too pleased to provide help. Bill Greenwood OBE, Secretary to the PCC.
